The occupy wall street movement is now offically more than a year old. The peaceful protest which started in new yorks wall street area had quickly spread to pretty much every major city in the world including london.
The protesters of occupy wall street claim they are the 99% and have very little money compared to the 1% of wealth of the ruling class.
This pretty much includes everybody but the top Ceo's.
There has been a large number of arrests some of which have left many imprisioned. Also the number of reports of police mistreatment has been large in number. With the police shown on video to abuse many peaceful protests with their pepper sprays and batons. There has even been serious injury and death.
The question is will anything ever get done? What will be achieved by this protesting and once the protesters realise they are ignored will they turn to violence?
